Hey Makeup Lovers!
Today I wanted to share with you some fun tricks with our Glitz Customizable Shimmer Powders: Part 1 and all the amazing ways you can use them. We have over 70 shades to choose from and the possibilities are endless when it comes to combining colors and getting creative!
There area few ways to apply our shimmers, and here are the basics:
To Use Dry:
- Since the shimmers are loose mica mineral powders you want to make sure you have a flat surface to work on.
- Next make sure you have a shadow primer handy, they are a super important part of applying Shimmer Powders. They help enhance, adhere and make the color last all day!
- Now use your Duo Shadow Brush and flip it the fluff side, dip lightly into the container, then press on top of shadow primer, whether on the back of the hand to test or on the eye to create your one of a kind eye design.
Always press Shimmer on top and then use a big powder/blush brush to brush away the excess. Design AWAY! 🙂
May look something like this:
Notice the color is more enhanced and vibrant when used with Shadow Primer!
The possibilities are endless, imagine away!
To Use Wet:
This way is one of my favorite ways because you can customize any shimmer color and use a little water on the back of your hand to create your very own, one of a kind, Eye Liner! Also face paint, body paint and etc!
- You will need to use the Duo Shadow Brush and flip it to the Angle Tip side.
- Then mix on the back of your hand a little dab of water and your shimmer color of choice.
- Then using angle side of brush mix in till color is well blended and able to spread in a line form.
- Find area on eye you’d like to customize and go for it!
May look something like this:
Notice you have more control when it is wet and using the angle side of duo shadow brush.
So fun and can create any design imaginable!
I hope you got inspired and found today’s tips and tricks helpful.
Have a “Shimmering” Day!
